Our Mission
The Department of Fun Graphs brings expert character animation to the world of infographics. We create stories, rather than just numbers and abstract concepts. Giving data a narrative makes it more clear…and more watchable!
Lucas Gray, Director
Lucas has over 20 years experience working in primetime animation. Joining The Simpsons in its 3rd season, and then moving to Family Guy, he’s been involved in every aspect of the animation process: Design, Character Animation, Storyboarding, and eventually Directing. His most recent work can be seen on Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey, where he served as animation director, in addition to producing the infographic sequences provided by the Department of Fun Graphs.
Lucas has a degree in History from the Evergreen State College, where he learned to think critically and communicate clearly.
